UK - ALDI - SUNDAY 13th November

Hello all, just a quick heads up that at ALDI tomorrow they have packs of 10 hedging plants for £3.99. They have Acer, Hornbeam, Hazel, Blackthorn, Rose and Beech. It's a one off special so when they're gone they're gone. Maybe now is the time to think about that group planting you've always wanted to do. Shame they don't have Larch.

nicely spotted - 40 pence ea is pretty good although it is quite early for bare rooted stock to be lifted -i'll prob pop down to the local one tho as i want a few hornbeams, hawthorns and blackthorns for a mixed hedge planting

Hi Marcus,
Did you get any? If so were they any good and maybe suitable for Bonsai development and training? I work Sundays so couldn't get down. I will call after work tomorrow but doubt there will be much left.
Last year Homebase had similar packs for £10.99 and I was almost tempted by a pack of Oak but I already have four Oaks so didn't get them in the end.
