This is magnificent? One of the most original and natural creations I have seen in bonsai.

Very fine tree, original and unique design. It kind of reminds me of what one might think having tasted chocolate for the first time. Can't quite define it but must have more.

I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but the black and white photo makes a killer background on my iPhone.

This is it, Laurent!

A propos, I wish you the best of luck in Saulieu show.

Hi Law

Love this tree and it has also been my phone backdrop for some time. The work on this pine (see link) was in some way inspired  from your tree at the recent Burrs workshop.

The interesting thing about this tree is that it does not specifically fit any one recognized bonsai style but still; it is so perfect in it's own design that it avoids any criticism based on standard principals, and rises above on it's own grace and beauty.

The shade silhouette is so vivid. Looks like an aggressive dragon.
But it is a little distracting.
Perhaps you could treat us a photo on a plain background...?

very good job. like your tree very much.

If I may... I would prefer to bring the foliage little bit foreword, toward the viewer.

thx

I really like your tree. It is a very original idea and this image will stick in my head for years to come. Thank you for a new idea of literati or whatever it may be! Assigning genres or styles can be boring at times.

Regards,

Thomas
