BONSAI SHO(W)IN TENT.
BONSAI SHO(W)IN TENT? I hear you ask! Yes, Bonsai Sho(w)in Tent! This is the latest cool hype in Bonsai accessories! Let me explain, the "bonsai sho(w)in tent" is a small copy of a original tent and they come in all shapes, colors and sizes. They are just big enough to hold one or more Shohin Bonsai. I hear you thinking why??? Well some one had a brilliant idea when he discovered the existence of these small sized tents on the web. He bought some and during a storm he made some outdoor pictures of them with some of his Shohin placed safely in them. And than he posted them on a Bonsai forum and got loads of enthusiastic reactions! So he started to take pictures in the rain and snow, and after a wile he made pictures on the top of a mountain he and his mates had climbed. They all had brought some shohin and small tents all the way up there! Soon after those were posted on the web, more and more pictures started to appear from all over the world! Pictures of small tents and little trees on the beaches of Spain, in frond of the arcthetrium in Paris, in frond of the Chichen Itza pyramids in Mexico and even one of the protesters that were only last week occupying a square here in Holland had next to his tent a smaller one with a shohin in it! Bonsai people from all over the world have bought these Shohin tents and are making fun pictures in the most amazing places! I love it and I love the idea! I made the picture below this afternoon, the grass underneed the tent is photoshopped, but the rest is real! This tent can hold two Shohin dry and warm! The other one that I bought is a copy of a army tent in fool camouflage colors! Always handy on those outdoor trips! Now I have to find a unique spot were I can shoot my picture of my little "Bonsai Sho(w)in Tent"! Maybe in frond of some windmills or a Coffey shop in Amsterdam! I think it is great fun and I hope it will catch on even more!!!
I will keep you all posted!
Cheers,

I think too many bonsai artists would end up loitering within tent.

That last remark is pure slander! I for one would not think of entering these kind of establishments!
Not in Amsterdam that is!

Hi Todd,
a few years ago we had a light hearted post here on IBC that turned into: you guy's in Holland are so lucky to live in such a free country were almost everything is allowed! I smelled a great opportunity for a prank, so I searched the Internet for someting extra ordinary and came across a picture that was made in Mexico. A smiling guy was holding up this giant mushroom! I had never seen or heart of a mushroom this big and is was just perfect to use for my prank! So I fotoshoped my head onto this guy body and posted it! And one person (his name shale not be named ) took the bate hook line and sinker! This guy, was almost ready to emigrate his family to this paradise called the Netherlands, when his wife pointed out to him that my head in that picture was to big for that body! So it could not be real! Than he finaly realized that he was the victim of my joke! We all had a good laugh about it! The sad thing for me was that he did believe that it all was real, even that way to big head of mine! So the mushroom is realy that big, but my head is.....well most of the time not!
