I've just been taking some pictures while repotting trees, so I thought I'd post a couple. This is a little Sloe I've had for about 10 years. It's about 6 inches tall. It came from nursery stock, intended for hedging. My plan for the future is to continue working on the ramification. It hasn't flowered yet, but maybe next year...

Prunus spinosa (Sloe / Blackthorn) Shohin P1040111

Showing a bit of autumn colour now, though the leaves are drying up so I think this will be all I'll get this year. I'll repot it angled to the left in the spring, the trunk leans too much to the right now.

The picture is actually a bit bigger than life size on my screen.

For only 6 inches tall you've managed to get some very nice taper and ramification.
I’m impressed!
