Hello to everyone. I saw this insect today on my Buxus. What is it? How can I defeat it? I remove another one, but smaller and black.
Thanks, Manos

I tried to Google on plant pests of Greece and of boxwood, but couldn't find anything that looked like that. Did you see any damage from it? If not, just brush it off. If it is causing damage, get an insecticide at the farm store.

If this boxwood is not native to Greece, it is possible that some Greek insect is found a new host. It looks from the photo that something is damaging the outer bark of the tree. Are there slugs or other snail relatives that small?

It looks like a scale to me. A pyrethrin spray ought to take care of it.
