In our country, you can buy "snail baits." They work. Some have luck placing a shallow saucer of beer out on the table. The snails gather there and you can dispose of them.

If you can find it in your country, diatomaceous earth powder. You dust the tree and soil with the product. Microscopically the skeletons of diatoms (algae) are extremely sharp. So when. The snails come across the and are shredded and die.

The best thing I like is there are no chemicals. It's a natural product. After a few days rinse off the bulk and the residue will keep working. So when their eggs hatch it is in position to finish them off.

DE is usually used in pool filters so check water pool suppliers if you go that route. Avoid inhaling the fine dust!!! I've read they are likened to inhaling asbestos (not sure about this so check but it is better err on the side of caution).

I like the beer idea better...depending on how big your area, you can enjoy most of it as well. LOL Wink

When using any product follow all instruction to the T. It is a safe product if used correctly. Much safer in my opinion then many harsh chemicals. Being a organic product many organic farmers use religiously. Snails are voracious and multiply very fast and on a large scale they are very hard to get rid of. The beer works on a small scale but will never keep up the reproduction rate of the snails. In tropical areas they are a real menace. Also stale beer make me nauseous.

Since snails are indiscriminate beer consumers, you can use the 100% undrinkable "light" beer products.
