Hacker Pots Empty Hacker Pots

Post  Rob Kempinski Sun Oct 16, 2011 3:22 am

I made a few pots the recently and fired them this weekend (along with a few items for the house).
Here is a shohin pot carved from a block of clay with feet added.
Sorry for the photo quality - just quick i-phone shots

Hacker Pots Pot_1_10

A small accent pot with a purple glaze, and a bit of texture cobalt, covered by a clear over glaze that was supposed to crackle. Didn't happen but looks decent.
Without the clear over glaze the purple has a matte finish.

The last one was modified coil made pot of left over pieces and is about 12 inches across. It too had the clear crackle glaze over oxides but didn't crackle - drat.
