Hacker Pots
I made a few pots the recently and fired them this weekend (along with a few items for the house).
Here is a shohin pot carved from a block of clay with feet added.
Sorry for the photo quality - just quick i-phone shots
A small accent pot with a purple glaze, and a bit of texture cobalt, covered by a clear over glaze that was supposed to crackle. Didn't happen but looks decent.
Without the clear over glaze the purple has a matte finish.
The last one was modified coil made pot of left over pieces and is about 12 inches across. It too had the clear crackle glaze over oxides but didn't crackle - drat.

Rob, they turned out alright. What kind of clay do u use ? Oxidation ?

CJ I have an electric kiln, and used some commercial cone 5 clay.
