A Humble Caliandra in progress

Post  Fox CWB on Wed Sep 14, 2011 2:40 am

Hi all,

This is another project taking place, this is a comun tree used in south america, with small leaves and pompom flowers;
This year I repotted the tree into a better pot, in other to develop the smaller branchs and reach the final shape. The tree has some defects, and I will try to minimize them as the time goes by.
This tree was started as a cutting about 2003 ,and was neglected for about 4 years in that ugly pot. Then a stone was inserted to hide a gap between the roots, later the initial style took place.
Now as the spring is comming I will let the branchs grow and trim to balance the tree.

I put this last picture as a update and a best view.
