Hello, Halo and welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your new hobby.
If that's you in the avatar, you are doubly welcome, but I'd put a shirt on as you are showing up the current crop of prime UK bonsai males for most of whom "six pack" is a term relating solely to amber nectars.
And don't let Baddeley offer you a loan of his mankini whatever you do.

Don't you go lowering the tone now, Badly. Dean seems like a very presentable young man and I won't have you lot corrupting him.
Dean - Dorset where? England or somewhere much more exotic?

Thanks for the welcome Will.
Fiona, you don't get much more exotic that England these days. lol
I live just out side Bournemouth on the south coast. I'm a member of the Wessex Bonsai Society and have been since I took up bonsai in February of this year. I was given a very neglected Scots pine and rather than kill it I was advise to go along to a club night and learn how to treat it properly and maybe make a nice tree of it.
I'm in the process of making a bonsai blog highlighting the whole story so will point you to it when its ready for others to see.
P.S. I've put on a t shirt as requested.
