That appears very well designed. I'm not certain what function the rubber lining plays. Can you explain?
Also did you use mortar to connect the blocks together? If not. I'd worry about the blocks tipping over.

I suppose the lining could protect the underlying wood from warping due to water exposure. Also, it appears that the base could hold an amount of water to keep it cool and moist, while the tree sits above on the plastic grid?

Larger trees are too heavy to turn, so I built a system for easier


Yes John, that's right, all my trees are placed on tables of water. I have lots of azaleas

The percentage of humidity has to increase 10 %, it's enormous and my azaleas are happy. Smile
