Heres a stone i got whilst on holiday a few years back. Ive been thinking about growing a root over rock bonsai on it but then again its pretty cool as it is. Let me know what you think.

We call them here Monkey stones, exceptional for rock plantings..

definetely an interesting rock. Looks sedamentary in nature (sandstone?)

With such a strong image portrayed by the rock, it will take an equally strong imaged tree to compete and the suiban will have to be especially quiet so as not to add a third competitor.

If you do decide to use it in a root over rock effort be sure and let us in on your artistry with a few photos....
