"Bonsai Time Lapse" and a Question?? Empty "Bonsai Time Lapse" and a Question??

Post  Ammar22 Wed Oct 22, 2014 10:55 pm

Hi everyone..
I've had my bonsai for a couple of weeks now .. one day I said why don't I time lapse my bonsai so I did.
I was shocked at what I saw as when I played the time lapse there were creatures crawling up and down on my bonsai like a highway!
you can see what I'm talking about on this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXr6kgyzF68
so the question is, are these slugs harmful to the bonsai?
and how do I get rid of them?

Thanks!

Hey that's a neat video. That does not look like a soft body slug, but an insect of some kind. Would need better pictures to identify.

I stopped and started at the video in several locations and didn't make up my mind. The video makes it the fastest slug in the world, of course, so that maybe affecting our view.

affraid affraid affraid

of course the apparent speed is just because of the time lapse removing frames
but still !

and that appears to be during daylight hours...

THATS PRETTY RAD !

but, a cap full of beer
and you will have nothing to fear

a bottle or 3 for you and a nip for the slug drunken ... seriously.
