Latest Scroll to Hang in Buddhist Monastery
This is my latest scroll to hang in a Buddhist Monastery. Written by an independent German Calligrapher who will be ordained a priestess sometime this week. It is written in the Sousho style, so the quick meaning is immovable mind.
In making the scroll, we designed using a lotus flower designed kireji (cloth) and the most striking feature is the Jikusaki. うるみ金粉 It is a wooden jikusaki with an Urumi Lacquer with Gold Dust Fleck.
For some reason closeup of the jikusaki is not attaching, but you can view it at www.wallscroll.blogspot.com
