Hi jjbacoomba, i would suggest a smaller and shallower pot. it looks a little lost in the pot at the pressent time.

Normaly the begining of spring is a good time to re-pot. Can be done in the winter if kept out of the reach of jack frost. I'd stick to spring myself.
