Welcome to the forum Neelima.
Looks like a lot of potential in that tree. I'll leave it to the Bougie experts to give you suggestions for improvement though as it's not a tree I can grow in Scotland.
Good luck - look forward to seeing how you develop it.
Regards,
Fiona

Hello...I would recommend:
- Defoliating a little bit so we can take a better look at the branch structure,
- Take picture using a plain white background,
- Take pictures from several angles.
We canĀ“t say much off this picture alone, but it looks like it has great potential.

Larger pot, plant off center. remove foliage, be careful of any exposed cuts, Bougie wood is very soft and rots quickly, use Minwax.

He's from India. Doubt he can find Minwax there.
If this tree has just recently been placed in this pot, I don't think I would defoliate completely. You can remove some leaves to expose the branching, etc., but always leave some on. If you want to put it in a larger pot and if this has just been placed in this pot, you probably could just plop the entire root ball into a larger pot. If it has been several weeks in this pot, you will need to be more careful. You will have a lot of small, very tender roots around the edge of the old root ball, and you do NOT want to damage these. In that case, I think I'd wait a few months before moving it to a larger pot. (I almost said wait until spring, but then remembered where you are from. A few months should be OK.)
