Re: A musical link?
Thank goodness someone got the allusion in my thread title.
Oh I think we can have a little fun here with this new thread, but you do realise we will be giving our ages away big style with our selections, says Jennifer Juniper, who is sitting inside looking through a wet curtain at my azalea and thinking "Flowers in the Rain".
Or some parodies: "Underneath the larches, we dream our dreams away"
"Hey! Yew, get offa my cloud!"
"A town called Malus"
But for bonsaiists the world over, the best song words must surely be from the 23rd Psalm where we do our bit to ward off that particular species of beasties by singing:
"yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no weevil."
Sorry, sorry.

Re: A musical link?
what about those that didn't heed John Naka's advice
"I talk to my trees(but they don't listen to me)" by Clint Eastwood from "Paint your wagon."
And of course for Mr. Will Baddeley "Wildwood" Paul 'The Modfather' Weller, sorry Harley Rider.

In that case you must be singing that old Jesse Matthews song, "Over my shoulder goes one care."
But you must be to young to remember that!

Re: A musical link?
I have to say that I am enjoying this thread, but, is it me or does it seem that us Brits have a twisted sense of humour?
And I note that Mr. Tickle is keeping his head below the parapet, would have thought he would have some
C'mon Tony I just know that you must have some even if they were on 78's
