HI, we usully eat the fruit.. this is an experience.. the tree reaches 9 ft... 6 mts..the dificut is to mantain the fruit..

i decided to post out because this year i was stimulated by the celebration of 80 years of japanese imigrattion here in Amazon(my state is Pará). i have a few more here... i'll keep posting them, so the world can "discover" a little where i live.

Hi,

We have this species in India too. Commonly called Custard Apple. We normally do not use this for bonsai because of the large leaf size.

Ravi the leaf can get smaller. That is no problem.

Do the leaves reduce with normal defoliating methods like those applied on ficus?

Yes they do with no problems. Did you never try it to make the leaf smaller.
Try it. But before you do so keep in mind that your tree should be very healty.
