Ivy, harvested from a fallen tree.

This thing is ugly with some inverse taper and huge leaves, but I couldn't walk away from the thick trunk. It only took about 5 min to dig up although in my haste I recovered very few fine roots. I applied some rooting hormone to the large roots that I chopped through and none of the leaves have wilted in the few weeks that Ive had it other then one of the branches that was broken. I guess I don't really have any specific question, but it certainly doesn't deserve to be in the bonsai section.
sorry for the lousy background. I was trying to beat the rain.

Ivy

I have seen photos of Ivy done as Bonsai.

I think I would wait a year to make sure it is well established and then I would do a severe trunk chop and try to root the cut off pieces.
