LAST 2008 I acquire this material
First step...graft it with amother variety,,,premna microphyllya
2nd step grow,,,grow,,,,grow and grow
cut...cut....cut...
grow again but with selective branches

Good job with foliage replacement.
How about grafting on better roots to improve the nebari? Or perhaps air layering?

Rob,
the extension that you see on the training pot is full of organic fertilizer....dehydrated cow dung to be specific...Later on it will be remove every 3 months to replace ot with new one. It helps the branches to grow fast,,

I think you are saying under the extension full of fertilizer, the roots look pretty good. If not, maybe its a good time to air layer it underneath the fertilizer.
