Seedlings: Next step?
Hi,
I've placed my pine seedlings outside in a grow-house since March after being indoors since January.
At first they responded to the outdoor very positively and took on a growth spurt. But since about April progress has been slow.
You can see the seedlings in my images. Halfway through Summer now and I'm hoping they strengthen up to get through the winter.
I'm just wondering if I should leave them be, or if they could do with being placed in a bigger pot? They often flop to the side (as you can see in the pics, is this normal?)
If you hadn't guessed already, I'm new to this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Jason

Jason,
Just leave them alone and they will straighten up all on their own as they settle into their pots and begin to grow. The last thing you want to do with seedlings is put them into a pot that's too large for them.

Hi Jason maybe next april re-pot them in to a more free draining soil and leave them to dry a little between waterings.
also next year one month after potting give a light feed like maxi crop the green bottle of complete garden feed.

In the meantime, go to a local nursery and find a couple of trees to work on. Othewise, you are likely to love these seedlings to death.
