In the same vein, my dedication for Alexandra and co was going to be that line from the well-known Christmas ditty in which we get a hint that Rudolph, Dancer, Prancer et al may have had a sister:

"Olive the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names"

A musical link?

Post  Robert J. Baran on Fri Jun 24, 2011 6:43 pm

Lady Gaga: "Paparazzi" --> the line "Papa-paparazzi" becomes "Papa Kaneshiro" (Hawaiian bonsai master)

"Bad Romance" becomes "Bad Branches" (as in the type of limbs you need to remove)

And Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" becomes "Trees in Low Places"

Is it me, I can't watch the videos.

I'll try to post this one to see if it works ("Coulters Candy" at about 3'20")

And I really don't know why I dug up these folk songs from my twenties, 1976 or sthg Very Happy

... and I like their "accent" too.

And it was a time when songs were aboot ordinary people, no blnig-bling, just commoners, real stories, real people, real life...
