My new accent plants

Post  Harleyrider on Wed Jun 15, 2011 8:34 pm

Not strictly an accent, but I just wanted to show you my Primula Viali, which is looking particularly flamboyant this week.

And here's my 'Thingy'. No idea what it's called, but the flowers remind me of the plant in Little Shop of Horrors.

Sorry for the blur, I only had my mobile phone with me at the time.

Some others....
A 'Whatsit' in a Stone Monkey pot

A 'Whatyamacallit', waiting for a decent pot

As you can tell, plant names are not my forte. I've got the labels, but it's pouring down outside and I'm not running out to the shed to get them!

The Watyamcallit is a rhodohypoxis and the others are sempervivums

Looking good

Steve
Great accents

Sorry to disagree with you Chris, but 'Thingy' no2 is an Echeveria, possibly var 'glaucesens'
Often used for bedding out in borders etc
