Fraxinus excelsior - common ash Empty Fraxinus excelsior - common ash

"Pascal 37" is the specialist for Ash, but I have a couple trees that I got from the birds: i just can't help putting anything that looks like a seedling in a pot, just to see.

I found it's rather easy to make cuttings in late winter (February), which usually gives an interesting nebari.

This one was made from a potted tree more tha a meter high, the cutting was about as thick as my thumb.

In full leaves :

Fraxinus excelsior - common ash Frax0210

After removing the leaves and repotting :

Fraxinus excelsior - common ash Frax0211
