Sorry, don't try to grow it. It was extensively planted as a street tree in this country, & now they are sorry. The roots heave up the sidewalk, it throws unwanted seedlings everywhere, and is not a bonsai subject. It's only positive trait is that the flowers have a heavenly tea fragrance in April. Then they fall all over the driveway.
