Spring Progress
Here's a couple of recently restyled bonsai, both of which I received from my teacher, Nick Lenz.
Juniperus virginiana
Was a slanting style form, but I opted to make it a cascade.
Before:
and now:
Next a shimpaku
Adjusted the angle and rearranged the branches to create a more elegant form (I hope)
Before:
and now:
Both are growing vigorously and seem to be happy after the work that was performed. Both were repotted and the J. virginiana, especially, was drastically reconfigured. Doesn't seem to mind. Thank goodness.
Kind regards,
Andy

Re: Spring Progress
I think the first tree is more of a striking image as a cascade.
I like it,
