Re-potting Juniperus squamata Empty Re-potting Juniperus squamata

Hi IBC. I have a healthy Juniperus squamata which i would like to re-pot. I have just recently wired and styled the branches one month ago. I cut away 40% of the mass and it seems to have responded quite well. It was nursery stock and it is currently potted in an organic compost and is in a very large 6ltr plant pot. I would like to Pot the tree in to koyadama and i am wondering if any one can give me some advise on the matter.
1, Can i re-pot it one month after cutting and wiring.
2, Is it to late in the season to re-pot.
3, Do i have to leave some original soil around the root ball,
4, How deep should the pot have to be for a juniper with a twin trunk of about 1.5 inch.
5, How much root ball should i remove and how should i remove it (e.g, hose pipe or chopstick)

Thank you for any help that you can give me.
