Hi
4 hours instant bonsai?
I like it!
Could you post close-ups of the foliage before trimming, it looks really strange in the photo!
Cheers

Re: cuc cu tree
you can not believe but it is truth,.in the nature, it grow at the bottom of the mountain where is near habitat of human and cattle- they ate leaves, small branches and broke some another branches, day by day as you see, the tree likes a bonsai tree with hard and thick branches, it was so thick that I could pick alot of things on it
after 4 hours cutting and shaping, there are many branches were cutted
and the result as you see

Re: cuc cu tree
What a dense canopy. I'm surprised you got that under control in four hours and with such excellent results! I'm catching glimpses in the background of some of your other trees too you are obviously very talented! I've begun to seek out your posts for a new and unusual bonsai treat, and am always both surprised and excited when I see something new from you.

Bigbabol-
Does the tree have any other names? I searched cuc cu tree and didn't find much. I'm always keen to look up the trees you post for us as they are so different from what I normally have available to me.

Re: cuc cu tree
thank all you, because this is a new species for bonsai so I don't know what is it's scientific name, I am sorry, I will update as soon as I can
because it has just been dugged so the best important thing is not beautiful or ugly which is life, I have to nurse it carefully in special condition to get a perfect state in future - without any dead branch

Bigbabol,
It is hard to judge from the pictures, but this tree looks a lot like Streblus asper or Streblus taxoides. Maybe you can look up on it.
Kind regards,
Jose Luis

Hi Bigbabol,
I think j luis is right, it looks like kalyos, strelus asper, if you can post a clearer pic of its leaves, perhaps we can identify it.

Re: cuc cu tree
get some of the old leaves and make a closeup pic, if its streblus asper, the next time the leaves grow it will reduce a lot. are the leaves course like sand paper?

Thanks for posting Bigabol, it is not streblus asper, but it seems it will make a good bonsai material.
