The second image shows the tree at the present time...It is a Citrus aurantifolia.

Hi, John...good hearing from you and thanks for your input. Over the years I have been privileged to sometimes acquire trees from the West Virginia University Greenhouse collection...at thimes when overcrowding occurs, cuttings and taken and then older stock is thinned out. That was the case with this tree.

If you ever get up "north" to Morgantown, I would enjoy getting together.
