Abstaract piece

Post  jolz on Tue Apr 26, 2011 4:18 pm

Here are a series of 4 pictures of my abstract piece. This is a Carmona planted in an irregular container and when recovered after few years, the result is somewhat intriguing to the naughty eyes. somewhat erotic, but this is what mother nature is doing sometimes.

You need a Boy Scout to untangle those roots.

I dunno whether the tree would be improved by planting it (a lot) deeper, or not.

I can visualize the concept and think of perhaps snakes somehow involved.

The canopy needs to be tweaked to make it a bit more unified.

Jim, I believe he intends to make the intertwined roots a design feature of the tree so planting deeper is not in the plan.

am glad there are only the two of us in IBC who have dirty minds so far tim,

This fukien tea is a very good material for bonsai, it could easily adopt to any bonsai style including the rock grown style. For this particular tree perhaps it would be better to focus on twisted root design,
you may use an equally exotic looking vulcanic rock which is abundant in your area(,black cynder is better than the red) for this tree.

We can't consider this tree for 360, it might be classed as porn!! What a Face

ha ha ha1 dont even dare!

I tried posting 360 in bonsai and stone but I dont think they appreciate it, I do it in all my favorite trees, its a better way of keeping record of our trees development.
