TALL ROCK PLANTING

Post  mike page on Sat Apr 23, 2011 11:56 pm

The rock and pot are from Japan. The San Jose Juniper is California grown, and in bonsai training for about 15 years. Height from pot rim to top of rock about 21 inches.
Today I was doing show prep. Wiring, trimming and general cleanup.

Sei Boku Bonsai Kai at the San Mateo Garden Center in San Mateo on Parkside Way. Take Alamada de los Pulgas south from Highway 92 and right on Parkside Way. The show will be the first weekend in June.
The images were posted by an attendee at last year's show.
