Dear uncle Xuan,

This is impressive, I like it very much, especially in the second last picture, it looks whole and very natural. How long has it been in training uncle Xuan?

I can count up to three live trees around the deadwood?

Are you coming out winter? We are just about to pass the first autumn (or fall) month.

Best regards.

Thanks for your nice comments.
It is in training since 2007, I grafted with 3 whips but one did not make it so now there are only 2 remaining, I thought about replacing the one which died but now with 2 ramaining it looks ok
We are in Spring now, some of the Azaleas are in bloom but the Satsuki are still in green.
Regards.

Great tree and masterfully done. From what I'm reading on the web , tan uki are finally being taken seriously , especially when they are as good as this one.
