New Averrhoa carambola L. variety

Before, I found this tree in a nursery, It is a kind of new Averrhoa bilimbi L., I purchased and bring it home to grafting with Averrhoa carambola L.,

First year, after grafting 3 month (2009)



End of year 2009



Beginning of year 2010



End of year 2010



And now 2011



And this is a Fruit of tree, too Sweet anh very delicious




This tree will be put on landscaping when finished.

Looking good, I am glad you used some branches to cover up the bump of trunk on the right branch .For me it was a strange transition mabye carving will help but as it is a tropical correct?? You might not need to worry .
