jaboticaba shohin
I acquired a jaboticaba that was in really bad shape when I got it. When i first got it the top part had to be cut off because of a fugal infection. It dropped all it's leaves and finally after a month and a half its finally putting out new buds. The only thing, is that it really need to be re-potted because the potting mix is retaining way to much water. If I just re-pot it and don't cut any roots will this stress it out or should I just wait? I'll post a pic later

Try repotting into a larger pot WITHOUT cutting the roots.
It should be O.K.
Do not feed for 6 weeks.

Surely if your not disturbing the roots, feeding can be done immediately?Peter E. wrote:Try repotting into a larger pot WITHOUT cutting the roots.

According to one of my friends from South Florida these trees like a lot of water and he treats them like bald cypress.
I think I would just let it grow. Is it outdoors?
