Some Spring pics

Post  John Quinn on Thu Apr 14, 2011 2:58 pm

I haven't had much time to post recently, but here are some recent pics. Comments and suggestions welcome.
First, a Trident maple and how it looked some years back after a workshop with Suthin at Bill Valavanis' Symposium

Next, another Trident maple:

Yet another Trident, over rock:

Cornus officinalis:

Boxwood:

Ginkgo:

Small trident:

American hornbeam (Carpinus caroliniana)

Korean hornbeam:

Guess what? Another Trident:

Thanks for looking! Cool

Very nice John ! I don't think there's anything better than the intensity of "spring green".

Lovely pics, John, in equal measures with the trees of course. The Trident over rock and the Ginkgo are my favourites from these pics. Cool

I also love the pot on the American Hornbeam - whose is it?

How can we help you conquer your dislike of Trident Maples though? Razz

Fiona, that pot is from American potter Sara Rayner. She also made the large pot on the last image, the Trident maple. Great pots.
