Hi Karl,
A very nice tree indeed. What I really like about this tree are the three UROs. They really add a lot of character to this tree. The branch ramification too is nicely done especially for such a small tree. What you may want to consider is that for an informal upright such as this, you may want to keep the lowest right branch longer than the lowest left branch. This in my humble opinion adds balance to the tree. Your first pic of 2009 before styling clearly has this balance. The finished tree in the second pic has the lowest right branch shorter than the lowest left branch giving a sense of precarious balance. Just my two pence......
