The earth trembled
The sea swelled
The skies looked on

Houses crumbled
Cars floated away
Dreams shattered

Near ones depart
Families torn apart
Torrents of tears

Power plants go up
Reactors cave in
Fears all around

Dark skies part
Sun shines through
Hope lives on

Wounds fill up
Buds on branches
Time heals
