Looks fake to me - no roots on the plant.

Not worthy of further attention really. That looked like a short length of shoot with mature needles, which take two or three years to develop. How could a seedling grow and produce chlorophyll in pitch black conditions? A hoax for sure.

Sounds like April Fools to me, too. And it looks like he inhaled a sprig, not a seed.
Anyway, I just heard about this from Jay Leno. He reported that the surgeons said that the man is not out of the woods yet!

Anything is possible. I first read this and thought, "YEAH Right!" I still have the same feelings though. YEAH RIGHT DUDE! He should have inhaled a diamond it would have been worth more.

I guess he eats, sleeps, and breaths bonsai....
