Here's a Limber Pine (Pinus Flexilis) that I recently styled. I collected this tree a couple of years ago in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming.

I attempted to keep the wild nature of the tree in the styling, without taming it too much.

Love to hear your thoughts! Smile

Really do like the direction of this one, very naturalistic. The big jin is a bit large in my perception. Thanks much for sharing!

I find that bow-curved branch the arrow points at to be very offputting and unnatural.  I'd cut it as marked and jin the stub.

Otherwise, nice tree.

Thanks for your input Jim. Removing it will always be an option, and I feel it adds a bit of "something different" to this tree. So I left it for now, I may remove it in the future if I change my mind though. Smile

It looks great, you have definitely kept the tree's natural look. Was the long top jin there when you found it? It makes the tree look very different and gives it character.

Hi Dan,

I wanted to ask if you have any updates on this tree? Is it in a pot now?
