Repot it in a plastic tub about twice the size of that pot to bulk it up. Also choose one upper branch as the leader and wire down the rest of the growth.

Hello Padawan. I suggest you remove the top of the tree and wire some shape into the smaller upright branch and treat it as the new leader. This will greatly improve the taper of your tree.
