I wanted to show you my new yamadori I bought from Tony T at the Noelanders trophy.
I think it could become a very nice Literati in the future.
One of the features on the tree is the very old bark and barkcolor (nearly black)
What do you think?
Peter

A bit to small, Peter. Don't you think so?

I have a bigger Mugo :-)

It's a nice one though.

Hello Peter.I think a larger pot would be a good idea to improve the growth for pruning and back budding. The line through the bottom branch looks interesting to me.

Hahaha Faisal, soon very soon you trade everything big for shushin or perhaps even shohin Wink

Will I was thinking about potting it in a bigger container, a lott of new buds though, the line you are refering to is very nice and will be one of the features on this (literati) tree

More rubbish from the Trophy then Peter Laughing

I did have my eye on it and hoped to do a deal for it but you got in before me.
I thnk the pot of Andy's that you are tempted to get will be perfect (don't worry, I'm not on commission!) and await with interest your next step with the Mugo. are you gunna extend the shari as you mentioned?

Happy hacking!!
