Lantana camara 'Miss Huff'

Post  Tom Simonyi on Fri Apr 24, 2009 2:31 pm

Just wondering if anyone has grown/worked with this species cultivar. I have read that it is very popular as a landscape specimen in southern regions. Thanks in advance for your input....

Regards,
Tom

I don't know about that cultivar, but I've seen some Flrida folks with magnificent Lantana bonsai.

Thanks, Jim....I don't doubt that they are really impressive, especially if collected...mine is far from that stage...I am working with a tree that I reduced from old nursery stock...it seems to have remarkable resiliency...after initial reduction to bare trunk/branches about 6-8 weeks ago it is already flowering after a flush of vegetative growth...I will certainly enjoy the flowers as it continues to develop.

Thanks again.

Best regards,
Tom
