has anyone ever used a sequiadrome or the giant redwood as a bonsai? And have tips/pointers

Their foliage just makes them awkard subjects. I've seen pictures of them and I've yet to see a decent one. They backbud little to none. Coast Redwood, on the other hand, are much, much better.
