In China, the stone's name is Philip Stone, like people a lot. Very good piece of color, black and yellow contrast. Shape in general, not specifically because each SUISEKI with outstanding features: history, is the shape, the color, is thought there that only have a collection value. Forgive me for advice.

Dear Trientrakieu

The collour of the stone is nice, and dramatic.
To me the stone is a landscape/mountain stone, and both a suiban and dai will look nice with this stone.
I would place it a bit deep in the suiban. And also try to avoid the round botom on the left side when carving the dai.

Kind regards Yvonne

According to historical records, the first found in Huanglashi Zhenla States (now Cambodia), it said Huanglashi. Another argument is presented by the stone surface, named after the Prince oily glaze. Huanglashi Guangdong is one more well-known ornamental species. La stone or sandstone is silicified andesite, quartz iron. Huanglashi in petrology is a kind of quartz stone.on my site, there are two yellow, and you see the next.
