Spanish language bonsai site?

Post  Nina on Tue Nov 16, 2010 1:28 am

Hi everybody! I have a colleague who is Salvadoran, and she just bought a bonsai. Alas, it is a Serissa. I'd like to give her some care instructions besides my usual ones to Serissa owners ("Don't blame yourself!") and it would be wonderful if there was a Spanish-language site that gave good advice, as her English is shaky.

Spanish Language Bonsai

Spain is teeming with bonsai. Google on Bonsaimania as well as Asociacion Bonsai. I'm sure there are bonsai sites in Latin America also. Contact Jose Luis Rodriguez and Pedro Morales to begin with. I wouldn't be surprised if there are even Spanish bonsai clubs in Florida or California.

Thanks, everybody- I'll check those out and pass some along. Oh, and the good news is, my friend brought her bonsai in for me to see, and I think it's a Kingsville boxwood, not a serissa (a mistake by the vendor?). I told her she got a lucky break!

Thanks for answering this question, folks, but this thread started in 2010; I doubt anyone needs the info any more. The Serissa undoubtedly is dead.
