My new yamadori (part 2)
Ok, here's the second of my new yamadori. I really like this tree and have already seen several different styling options for the future. Which direction would you go?
Height 12", trunk dia just above nebari 1 1/2" - 2"
If you look at the end of the chopstick, you can see where the tree has started to layer itself.
As you can see, I'll have no shortage of branches to pick from when the time comes!
Here's another pic that I just found hidden amongst all the others. This has got to be the front, surely?
A close-up of the nebari.

Great to see you posting with verve Steve. Burrs and your collecting trip seem to have fired you up.

Oh yes. I'm back and firing on all cylinders!
Anyone who goes to Burrs and doesn't come away enthused and excited about the year ahead must be either dead or certifiable, in my opinion.
Actually, scrap the certifiable. That's a prerequisite of attending Burrs in the first place

Cheers Simon. I'm taking no chances this year mate. The trees are already snuggled in my neighbours greenhouse and I'm off to Staples tomorrow for some bubble wrap, just in case!
Hopefully, fingers crossed, I'll be posting pics of them in full leaf come Spring.
