Hi Alex... Your stone naming is great. The stone looks like both a mountain peak & a lion-- arguably including its full figure though the head is prominent.
It also recalls several famous allusions including from sources in China and India:
1. The Lions' Grove grotto/artificial mountain in a famous Suzhou garden-- it once (originating in the Yuan dynasty) included more-famed "lion" figure garden stones;
2. The Lion's Roar sutra originating in India with teaching on the focus of truth & emptiness;
3. The Lion's Peak-- a famous Tianmu Mountain (China) landscape feature.
