Acer palmatum (air layering 2005)

A few pictures from the development of Acer palmatum. The original tree is from seed. The leaf colors are different.

Lovely progression on this. It's a great looking tree... Perfect roots having been grown on the wooden board!
I think I need to get some planted in my garden for air layering!

You're right, I also want to seek more powerful trunk. Next year I'll grow up strong shoots, I'll see if the dominance improve.
