Grafting a sylvestris? Empty Grafting a sylvestris?

Yamadori Sylvestris sometimes have a lak of a good root base. Other species that have simular problems may be improved by grafting or inoculating roots.
Is this also a possibility for pinus sylvestris? Who did this and how did you do this?
