Some people are just so pass-remarkable. I am busy with work and cycling. Cake is not my foodstuff of choice however, so mention of muffins is meaningless (albeit in an alliterative sort of manner). Now had it been Tiffin, well that is an altogether different matter though.

Thanks for your concern, John, but I am just very busy at the moment with a new job. I have also pretty much stopped commenting on people's trees as I believe that in most cases I don't have the necessary expertise to do so. A lesson learnt after a recent well-intentioned but nevertheless downright stupid (and arrogantly so) crit I gave someone whose ability way outshines mine.

Back to wax on - wax off for me.

Yes, Yes, why not Tim??? Laughing
Fiona will comment on trees on the other fora but she can talk about food here on the off topic forum! There are people listening to her here!!!
And thank you Fiona for this recipe. We have something similar in Greece (called the "mosaic") but your English looks much more tasty. It remains to taste it and confirm the look!!! Laughing

Ah but mine is the Scottish recipe. It has a few added ingredients to give it that extra edge over its wishy-washy Sassenach equivalent - including a deep-fried Mars Bar, a bottle of Irn Bru and three copies of the Daily Record (Monday edition).

Three copies is too much for my taste... I'd rather eat some "lighter" variant (however not the wishy-washy) Very Happy

Have a nice day!
