Dear viewer

Would like to show a few accents from the south of
the Netherlands Laughing ( Hans You are spot on with the History !!! )

Enjoy

This is a indoorplant in winter, now outside in the garden showing
a lot of deep pink flowers.
In my "girl-ie" pot

A wild plant , here in seed , it has purple flowers.
this plant has a good combination in seed shape and dots on the pot.
Thats why they are together .
The pot is from a Japanese man , forgot his name , we made some pots together
in his special way to get the lines and dots on the pot.
They are made with salt-soaked sisal rope .

Excellent Morea, thanks for the lovely photo's. I don't think that is Little Caesar, that is strongly variegated deep green and a broad white central stripe. I think this one may be Hydon Sunset?

Really charming Wink

The second plant, "A wild plant , here in seed , it has purple flowers" is certainly a species of wild geranium, the shape of the seeds are quite typical of the family.

It's called Cranesbill over here.

Yeps in dutch its called ooievaarsbek its one of the wild Geraniums in Europe, not to be confused with pelargonium ( sold as Geranium in Belgium and Holland).

Yeds, it does ressemble a crane's head, and I suspected that "bek" in Dutch could be "bec" in French (beek in English). Google translation has "bouche" (mouth) as a French translation, and "ooievaar" is "stork" in English. Funny, isn't it. Only in french it is called commonly "géranium sauvage" (wild geranium) , but it may have other vernacular, local names I don't know.

Sorry for this uitweiding / digression...

Are you in the habit of 'tinkling' in the garden, Morea?

Seeing these lovely pots reminds me of the one I nearly got from you at Burrs, *sigh*
